Hi, I'm
Kyle Ramachandran.
I'm a UC Berkeley EECS student (graduating 2027) specializing in full-stack engineering and AI applications. Just wrapped up an internship at Metafore, previously at Global AI Village and SUPA.
01. About
A little about me
I was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and I'm a fourth-year EECS student at UC Berkeley, building impactful software that ships to real users. My work sits at the intersection of full-stack engineering and AI, and I'm always looking to learn more.
On campus, I have also been heavily involved with Blueprint, a student-led organization at UC Berkeley that builds pro bono software for nonprofits. Through this work, I've developed a passion for using technology to drive social impact and have had the privilege of working with incredible mission-driven organizations.
I'm also a 3rd-degree Taekwondo black belt, having trained for 15+ years, a budding climber, and an enjoyer of basketball and MMA.

04. Projects
Things I've built
Progressive web application that serves as a "digital twin"/management platform for gardens in food insecure communities in Tennessee and Mississippi. Helps individuals, schools, and small communities establish and maintain their own gardens. Built as Blueprint Project Lead, working with the Trap Garden non-profit, managing 4–5 developers and 1 designer end-to-end.
Mobile app for reading, discovering, and interacting with stories by women supported by the Girls Write Now nonprofit. Features story search and filtering, personalized recommendations, bookmarking, and reactions. Built as Blueprint Project Developer, and built out front end flows and the recommendation algorithm.
Built internal full-stack platform for testing and monitoring an AI-powered WhatsApp-based chatbot serving ~800 farmers in Malaysia. Includes admin tools, Neo4j graph visualization, and MQTT-based onboarding flows. Worked on the chatbot's multimodal chat feature (audio + image transcription via Gemini and OpenAI) as a Software Engineering Intern at Global AI Village, collaborating closely with the Malaysian government and agriculture experts.
